In early 2023, Fonmon Castle aimed to enhance their Dinosaur section and chose a Welsh dinosaur as its mascot. They approached me to design both a logo for this section and a mascot to feature prominently on signage throughout the area.
I conceptualised the mascot, Draco, inspired by the Welsh dinosaur Dracoraptor, to embody a playful and friendly character. The subsequent logo centred around Draco. The final results received widespread approval and positively influenced customer experiences during their visits. Additionally, Draco took centre stage in animated educational videos featured in the Jurassic Science Center.
